Participants Will Learn

  • Why Use Water-Based Coatings?
Are you fearful of being unable to meet EPA’s sometimes stringent environmental regulations?  Are your employees suffering from health issues as a result of using solvent based systems?  Do you need to reduce your VOC’s to comply with regulatory demands? Water-based finishing systems will help you solve these problems and concerns.
  • Water Based Finishing System Selection
Remember when water-based finishes were promoted as the answer for all environmental finishing issues?  You may have tried water reducible coatings and experienced disappointing results.  In this seminar you will learn what water-based systems to use and which applications are best suited for water-based coatings.  You will learn water-based compatibilities with other finishing products and how to achieve results equivalent to solvent based systems.
  •  Process Training
Learn new sanding and preparation processes vital to water-based finishing success.  We will teach you equipment selection, coating applications, equipment set ups, and methods to handle and cure water-based products to produce beautiful durable finishes.
