The AWFI Lab at Riverstone is a new 12,000 sq. foot state of the art industrial coating facility. This custom designed facility provides the most advanced laboratory in North America for process engineering and industrial coating application training. The $3.5 million dollar facility is equipped with the latest application coating technology, including robotics and reciprocating spray equipment.
The entire facility is climate controlled for temperature and humidity to meet your manufacturing environment specifications. A key advantage of the AWFI Lab at Riverstone facility is complete computerized air make up systems to provide full climate control throughout the lab. This feature allows all the finishing systems in the facility to operate simultaneously and provide complete control over the process. This important climate control application will provide real world testing scenarios to match your manufacturing sites weather conditions. Air temperature can operate up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and down to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity can be maintained up to 90% relative humidity and down to 50% relative humidity. These finishing environments can be simulated throughout the winter and summer.
Advanced features of the AWFI Lab at Riverstone include a fully programmable hang-line including 3D curing, a reciprocating spray flatline with convection IR and UV curing, a 24′ x 10′ high auto-pressurized cross draft booth, and a powder coat booth.
